I’m thrilled to unveil Aspen Music run by Lisa Jespersen! It’s your trusted source for piano lessons in Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Parkland County, and the surrounding areas. Now with a fresh look and name, I also offer Music Therapy as a Certified Music Therapist.
Piano Lessons
As always, I’m offering piano lessons to all ages and levels up to RCM 8. I’m currently providing lessons out of my home studio in Spruce Grove, Alberta. I also have lessons out of Keephills Community Hall and Leduc School of Music.
I really like learning piano with Lisa. She makes it fun!

Music Therapy
Most excitingly, I’m offering Music Therapy! I use music purposefully within therapeutic relationships to support development, health and well-being. As a Music Therapists I address human needs within cognitive, communicative, emotional, musical, physical, social and spiritual domains. Music holds a special place in the hearts of most people, and music therapy can make a significant impact on various populations, including those with:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Alzheimer’s / Dementia
- Developmental Disabilities
- Neurological Impairment
- Speech and Language Impairments
- Behavioral Disorders
- Palliative Care
- Emotional Traumas
- Acquired Brain Injuries
- Learning Disabilities
- Mental Health Difficulties
- Geriatric Care
Music therapy is an evidence-based method that uses the healing potential of music to enhance the well-being of individuals across diverse needs and challenges. I’m ready to offer information and guidance to anyone curious about its therapeutic potential.
“Music can lift us out of depression or move us to tears - it’s a remedy, a tonic, orange juice for the ear. But for many of my neurological patients, music is even more--it can provide access, even when no medication can, to movement, to speech, to life. For them, music is not a luxury, but a necessity.”
